I wanted to die in the kitchen; Chef Faila sobs while talk about her cook-a-thon [ VIDEO]

 



From January 1st to January 10th, 2024, the Ghanaian chef participated in a 10-day cook-a-thon. Chef Faila said she was ready to give it her all, even if it meant risking her life in the cook-a-thon kitchen.


At the City Hotel in Tamale, Chef Faila cooked nonstop for 227 hours, attracting a sizable audience of thousands of Ghanaians, celebrities, and dignitaries to support her incredible undertaking.

In the end, Chef Faila cooked uninterrupted for 227 hours, instead of the 120 hours she had planned. When questioned why, she sobbed and said that she did it for the girls from the Northern region who are generally looked down upon.


She went on in tears during a TV3 interview, saying;  am looking for an opportunity to have a history in my family to change the story about my family, about the North, about the vilification we young girls from this side of the country have gone through."
