Chef Failatu's cookathon attempt is surpassed by a Nigerian chef.

 

Beauty had originally planned to run her ambitious cooking marathon for eight days, but she has now decided to extend it by ten more days. She wants to cook nonstop for eight days in a row, or a total of 432 hours.

"We are almost done with our -8-days Cooking marathon. Having cooked over 215 meals with 2483 people fed and counting," Chef Beauty wrote on Instagram in an attempt to convey her gratitude for the tremendous support she has received. "My team and I are excited to announce that we will be extending the marathon by an extra 10 days," she wrote.

Her attempt follows the remarkable 227-hour cooking marathon that Ghanaian chef Faila Razak completed. Chef Failatu is still awaiting formal evaluation and approval of her record time by the Guinness World Record authority.
